Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.5 or higher.
- Recent Pennsylvania school onboarding (within one year of the start date).
- Professional experience in educational settings preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting for secondary-level academic subjects.
- Demonstrates reliability, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
Role Details:
- Deliver 1:1 interpreting support to a high school student during regular academic programming.
- Work onsite for two days each week (preferred Monday and Friday, with school team flexibility).
- Collaborate closely with academic staff to facilitate learning and accessibility.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold best practices in all interpreting engagements.
- Ensure smooth communication between student, teachers, and peers as needed.
