Job Description
Shape the future of student communication and learning in a vibrant school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This dynamic, onsite, full-time contract role is in the thriving Denver area and provides the chance to support students' growth throughout the 2026–2027 academic year. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students excel academically and socially by providing high-quality speech and language evaluation and intervention.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth–21)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to complete district-required background check
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs (caseload to be determined)
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and actively contribute to student support teams
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student progress and engagement
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Monitor, review, and adjust intervention plans to maximize student outcomes
- Provide support across one or more school placements as assigned
