Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and document services effectively
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to craft individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ needs in the classroom
- Provide direct therapy (individual and small group) and adapt interventions as needed
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate and advise teachers, parents, and caregivers regarding strategies and progress
- Contribute to a positive learning environment where every student has the chance to succeed
