Job Title: Shipping & Receiving – Warehouse Worker (First Shift)
Job Description
This role focuses on receiving, unpacking, organizing, and shipping small electronic devices and components in a clean, audited warehouse environment. You will verify incoming materials, prepare outgoing orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and follow established safety procedures while working on a first-shift schedule. This is a 6‑month contract-to-hire opportunity that offers hands-on experience with parts used in commercial airlines.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments from suppliers, unbox materials, and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Inspect received items for accuracy, completeness, and basic condition before placing them into inventory.
- Package customer orders securely, ensuring items are properly protected for transit and labeled accurately.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and support timely delivery of customer materials.
- Assist with inventory management by maintaining accurate records and performing periodic stock checks and cycle counts.
- Organize received materials in designated warehouse locations to support efficient stocking, picking, and parts inventory control.
- Use RF scanners, data entry tools, and ERP systems (including SAP or similar platforms) to record inventory movements and shipping/receiving transactions.
- Support day-to-day warehouse operations including picking, packing, stocking, and general material handling for small electronic devices and components.
- Provide courteous, customer service-oriented support to internal stakeholders regarding inventory status, shipping updates, and material availability.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing warehouse tasks, including proper lifting techniques for packages up to 35 lbs.
- Follow compliance requirements applicable to an FAA-audited facility and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Work Environment
The position is based in a clean, FAA-audited warehouse facility with a small team of approximately three employees in the warehouse. You will work first shift hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., handling small electronic devices and components within a structured logistics operation. The work involves regular use of ERP systems (such as SAP), RF scanners, and standard warehouse inventory tools in a professional, organized setting. The facility operates with established safety and compliance standards, and the work is primarily hands-on material handling, inventory, and shipping/receiving in a controlled warehouse environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
