ELA Teacher in Donaldsonville, LA

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Louisiana teaching license with appropriate endorsements for English learners
• Demonstrated skill designing and implementing differentiated ELA lessons
• Experience supporting non-native English speakers in classroom settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cultures
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Position onsite only; must be available to work 37.5 hours per week through end of school year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute lesson plans that enhance English language reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies to accommodate varied learning styles and language levels
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet evolving needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of student activities, achievements, and challenges
• Partner with colleagues, families, and support staff to reinforce learning and inclusion
