• Active New York State Social Worker certification, required
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker or in a similar school-based support role

• Ability to conduct assessments and create effective, individualized support plans

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop strategies for student success
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Serving as an advocate for students and connecting them to needed resources within the school and broader community
• Offering crisis response and intervention as needed
• Supporting the creation and implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in line with district and legal guidelines
