Journeyman Plumber

Job Duties

• Perform commercial plumbing work on a tenant improvement project
• Install and modify cast iron piping
• Sweat and install copper piping
• Measure, cut, assemble and install piping systems
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints
• Use standard plumbing hand and power tools
• Follow project specifications and commercial construction standards
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional jobsite

• Journeyman-level plumbing experience required
• Commercial construction experience required
• Strong experience with cast iron and copper piping
• Must be proficient at sweating copper
• Must be familiar with plumbing tools, materials and installation methods
• Ability to read plans and blueprints
• Must follow construction safety practices
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel and work on your feet throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
