Travel Retail Pharmacist - Minneapolis, MN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a 13+ week travel assignment in Pocahontas, IA. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care within a long-term care setting, supporting patient health and medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately for long-term care patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and facility policies.
• Provide patient counseling and education on medication use.
• Support immunization initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license or temporary Iowa license.
• Prior pharmacy experience in retail or long-term care preferred.
• Immunization certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is also preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills essential.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Some weekend shifts required.
