School-Based Physical Therapist - Lake View, New York

This two-month leave coverage offers a full-time Monday to Friday schedule (7:30 am–3:15 pm) and focuses on serving a diverse K-12 caseload. You'll collaborate with educators and families to advance student development and enhance the quality of life for those with varying physical needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work with students ranging from kindergarten through high school
• Knowledge of IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, evidence-based physical therapy interventions for K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Develop tailored treatment plans and adapt strategies to each student's goals and needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records of student performance and therapy sessions
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consultations to review progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
