Job Description
Step into a contract position supporting students’ communication and educational goals in a vibrant school setting near San Francisco, CA. This assignment offers meaningful collaboration with dedicated educators and other professionals, beginning as soon as possible.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or interest in supervising SLPAs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for a caseload of approximately 40–50 students (caseload subject to change based on SLPA supervision duties)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Offer guidance and supervision to assigned SLPAs, if applicable
