This role offers a three-day-per-week schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Supervision is fully arranged and provided, ensuring you have the guidance and assistance needed to excel.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license in the state of California
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with OTs, educators, and families
  • Ability to document progress and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Adaptable and compassionate, focused on student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapy services for students with various needs.
  • Carry out treatment plans and interventions to help students develop fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
  • Update records and communicate progress with supervising therapists and other school staff.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment by adapting activities and materials as needed.
  • Support students individually and in small groups, both in classroom and therapy room settings.
