What You Bring:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
  • Active Connecticut SLP license (upfront license is highly valued)
  • Recent school-based speech-language pathology experience
  • Skilled in working with elementary-aged caseloads
  • Willingness to split time between two local sites as needed
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background checks
  • Commitment to a fully onsite setting (no remote or SLP-A positions)
  • Professional, collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary school teams

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy to elementary students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Track and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with state and district regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best meet student needs
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to school community initiatives
  • Effectively coordinate a dynamic schedule between two sites
