Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school setting near Trenton, NJ as a contract School Psychologist. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth, well-being, and academic success.

Your New Role

As a School Psychologist, you will play a key part in developing positive educational experiences for students across all grade levels. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychoeducational assessments, supporting the creation of individualized education programs (IEPs), providing direct counseling services, and advising on interventions to address behavioral and emotional challenges.

Ideal Background

  • Active NJ Psychologist credential required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current educational and psychological best practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, parents, and outside agencies
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners with empathy and professionalism

What You’ll Do

  • Administer assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Interpret results and share actionable insights with IEP teams
  • Support crisis intervention initiatives and offer individual/group counseling
  • Consult with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in meetings as required
  • Foster a safe, supportive environment for all students
