Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving young learners and their families near Saint Paul, MN. What You'll Bring:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Prior experience in schools or early intervention settings
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for flexible scheduling
- Familiarity with B-3 (birth to three) family interventions highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and educational staff
- Ability to conduct assessments and therapy sessions both in homes and in schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial Part C evaluations (approximately 50% of your caseload), requiring travel to family homes and flexibility with scheduling
- Support a preschool classroom (approximately 25% of the role) by collaborating with teachers and providing direct therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with IEP and IFSP requirements
- Engage with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for each child
- Accurately maintain records, progress notes, and assessment documentation
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
