Pharmacy Technician in Liberty, IN

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is seeking two skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital pharmacy operations in Richmond, Indiana. Both positions emphasize critical pharmacy functions in a hospital setting, including sterile and non-sterile compounding and medication management tasks.

Position Details:

• Location: Richmond, IN (Flexible for candidates willing to travel or relocate)
• Job Type: Contract
• Schedule:
  • Position 1: Nights, 7 days on, 7 days off, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Position 2: Days/Afternoons, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following established protocols
• Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis machines)
• Respond to pharmacy-related calls promptly and courteously
• Deliver medications to hospital floors efficiently and securely
• Monitor medication inventory including pulling expired drugs

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain licensure quickly (Indiana licensure process is straightforward)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication handling procedures
• Demonstrated attention to detail and compliance with safety standards
