Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP or SLPA), supporting students in the Moneta and Roanoke, VA areas for the full 2026-2027 school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Engage in IEP and student support meetings to advocate for student needs
- Provide mentorship and support for Clinical Fellows when applicable
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold, or be eligible for, a Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively on a collaborative team
