This opportunity offers two immediate openings, each with the chance to work onsite for 35 hours per week and truly make an impact in young learners' daily experiences. The caseload will focus on elementary students and may involve splitting time between two school sites, making flexibility and adaptability highly valuable.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience—elementary level experience is a plus
  • Capable of working independently across multiple locations as needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • District fingerprinting and background check clearance required
  • SLPAs are not eligible for these roles
  • Timely presentation of all licenses and required documents is strongly encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, communication, and language disorders in elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student success
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input as needed
  • Travel between two school sites within the district as assigned
