This role focuses on delivering essential educational services to a small group—just 7 students—at a single school site. You’ll work within a collaborative school environment, making a difference every day, from December 1st through the end of the school year.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Valid California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential (required)
  • Experience or interest in elementary special education, specifically with 2nd-3rd graders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, families, and support personnel
  • Ability to design and implement differentiated instruction and effective behavior management plans
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to 2nd and 3rd-grade students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
