This full-time role, offering 37.5 hours per week, is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who want to make a significant impact in a diverse school community. Depending on your experience, assignments may be tailored across various grade levels.

Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in K-12 settings is highly valued
  • Bilingual fluency, particularly in Spanish and/or Portuguese, is strongly preferred as the majority of students are bilingual
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Adaptable and culturally responsive approach to therapy and team collaboration

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments to determine student needs and document progress
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multilingual families, educators, and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and timely reporting in line with school standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and community outreach as needed
