Job Description
Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity focused on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position (up to 40 hours per week) begins in late August and continues through June in a welcoming educational setting near Bellevue, MI. For professionals seeking some flexibility, part-time and hybrid scheduling (with a majority of onsite days) are available. Please note that fully remote work is not an option.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license required (please be prepared to provide a screenshot with your application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with early childhood/pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of best practices for serving PreK and Kindergarten students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to onsite presence for the majority of the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed, including documentation and reporting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement interventions
- Maintain detailed and compliant records in line with district and state requirements
- Support student growth through evidence-based therapy and data-driven practices
