Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Mild/Moderate California Special Education Credential
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in elementary settings
- Strong commitment to differentiated instruction and inclusive education practices
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to a small caseload of students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student abilities, track progress, and adapt instruction according to IEP goals
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom climate conducive to learning and growth
- Collaborate closely with academic teams and families to support holistic student development
- Maintain accurate documentation and stay up-to-date with compliance requirements
