Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Your role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, as well as troubleshooting PLC systems. Prior experience in a liquid processing environment is essential.
Responsibilities- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Maintain and ensure smooth operations in a liquid processing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in overseeing production employees.
- Proficient in training and mentoring employees.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience in GMP or SQF environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $87360.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
