Desired Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CF)
• Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with students, families, and staff
• Organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students at Overhills Elementary School
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support students’ progress
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation, tracking student outcomes
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions and consultative services aligned with school goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the overall student support strategy
