This is an excellent opportunity for an Illinois-licensed Occupational Therapist passionate about serving diverse school-aged populations. Work full-time across two sites, immersing yourself in collaborative environments tailored to your preferred age group—early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school.
As a valued W-2 employee, you’ll benefit from a consistent 37.5-hour workweek aligned with the school calendar. There’s no midday travel since you’ll be on one campus per day, providing resource and general education support, as well as serving some self-contained special education classrooms. Engage with students, help foster growth through therapeutic intervention, and utilize your knowledge of sensory integration within a supportive school community.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing therapy goals, documenting progress, and supporting both general and special education needs
- Sensory integration background or demonstrated skills with school-age children is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services according to students’ IEPs and individual needs
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and monitor therapy goals
- Document sessions and track student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve designated age groups based on your established expertise and preference
- Work onsite, with minimal transition between campuses
