Press Brake Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable, and experienced Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team in Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new start in the industry.
Pay Rate
$25.00 and up depending on experience

Schedule and Hours
6:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Thursday

Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brakes to fabricate custom metal parts according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Program machines directly at the controller including selecting tools, calculating bend deductions/stretch outs and optimizing bend sequences
- Interpret and verify specifications using precision measuring instruments and CAD drawings.
- Perform complex forming techniques including bump forming and rolling to achieve specific contours and radii.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with engineers and other fabricators
- Follow Safety Protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
Press Brake Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience operating and programming CNC press brakes in a custom fabrication setting.
- Proven ability to calculate stretch outs and read complex fabrication blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with bump forming and rolling techniques.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, tolerances, and bend allowances.
- Familiarity with multiple gauge metals and a variety of fabrication tools and machines.
- Lift 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
