Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License or Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification required (both will be needed eventually, but either one is acceptable to start)
  • Open to Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs) certified through GaPSC
  • SLP-CCC/CF credentials welcome
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills essential
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners in elementary grades

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and write evaluation reports
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to ensure student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services onsite (not remote or hybrid)
  • Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and track student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school atmosphere
