Mancan is currently looking for a BDC for a local high end car dealership.
A Business Development Center (BDC) Representative at a car dealership is responsible for contacting potential customers, answering questions, following up with leads, and scheduling appointments for the sales team.
Typical responsibilities:
Contact customers by phone, text, and email.
Respond to internet leads and vehicle inquiries.
Schedule test drives and dealership appointments.
Follow up with customers who have not yet purchased.
Confirm upcoming appointments and encourage customers to show up.
Provide basic information about vehicles, pricing, and dealership services.
Maintain accurate customer information in the dealership's CRM system.
Work closely with salespeople and managers to hand off qualified customers.
Meet daily/weekly goals for calls, appointments, and customer visits.
Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Skills employers usually want:
Good communication and phone skills
Comfortable making a high volume of calls
Persuasive but not overly aggressive
Organized and good at following up
Comfortable using computers and CRM software
Able to handle rejection and difficult customers
Sales or customer-service experience is helpful but often not required
