Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence! We're seeking an Occupational Therapist to work on-site in educational settings near Bear, DE, and to provide individualized services for students who are medically homebound. This is a dynamic position starting August 25, 2026, and running through June 8, 2027, with both part-time and full-time options available (up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Your flexibility and compassion will be valued as you work with a diverse student population, facilitating their success within both school buildings and home environments. When not assisting homebound students, you’ll be assigned to a nearby school site (to be determined based on needs).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license required
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively with education teams
  • Willingness to travel to student homes as needed for medically homebound support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads throughout the school year

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to students with a range of needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and educators
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Help students build essential daily living, fine-motor, and sensory skills needed for classroom success
