School Psychologist in Burnsville, MN

Candidates with a passion for student growth and well-being are encouraged to apply for either of the following positions:

Position 1:

• Part-time, .4 FTE (16 hours per week)
• Schedule: 7:30AM–3:30PM
• Duration: September 8, 2026–June 10, 2027
• Consistent hours and collaborative team environment

Position 2:

• Full-time maternity leave coverage, up to 40 hours per week
• Begins October 5; up to 12 weeks in duration
• Flexible scheduling available (no work during winter break)

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid credential to practice as a School Psychologist
• Previous school-based experience required
• Successfully complete both agency onboarding and district background check
• Reliable transportation
• Strong professional references—must be in good standing from prior school-based roles
• Commitment to the entire assignment and alignment with the school’s schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to students
• Help build positive school climates and facilitate interventions to support student success
