Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Westminster, SC
Job Description
Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ communication needs in an onsite, contract-based opportunity located in the vibrant Seneca, SC area. You’ll be serving at Blue Ridge Elementary, working with a caseload cap of 60 students—all with mild needs, including those requiring AAC support, students with ASD, and some nonverbal cases. This setting lets you make a tangible impact in a collaborative school environment, with the support of 17 experienced SLP colleagues.
This opportunity is open to SLPs with their CCC, SLPs in their CF year, as well as licensed SLPAs. If you meet the requirements for SC SLP license, state LLR, and teaching certification—or if your credentials are in process—you’re encouraged to apply. The assignment runs full-time from ASAP through May 28, 2027, offering a rewarding and stable professional experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Educational or clinical experience as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Valid (or pending) South Carolina SLP license, LLR, and teaching certificate
- Pediatric experience in schools or healthcare, with a focus on elementary-aged students
- Proficiency in working with AAC, ASD, and nonverbal populations
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy for mild caseload with some AAC and ASD needs
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and a supportive team of SLPs
This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $42 to $52, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
