We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP or a qualified new graduate looking to build their career while making a meaningful impact on students.
You’ll work directly with students to evaluate, treat, and support communication needs while collaborating with teachers, families, and other members of the educational team.
What You'll Do
Provide speech and language therapy to students in a school setting
Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and/or consultative services based on student needs
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
Communicate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Help students improve communication, language, articulation, fluency, and/or social communication skills
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Delaware Speech/Language Pathologist license OR eligibility to obtain Delaware licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CF candidates may be considered
Ability to obtain any required school-based credentials/certifications
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Experience working with children is preferred but not required
Delaware Licensing Requirements
Candidates must meet the requirements for Delaware SLP licensure through the Delaware Division of Professional Regulation (DPR). Delaware recognizes a specific Speech/Language Pathologist license, and applicants can apply through the state's DELPROS licensing system. License status can be verified through Delaware's official license database.
