Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Special Education
  • Valid Connecticut Special Education teaching license
  • Experience working with high school students, preferably in special education settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to high school learners

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and development
