Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Special Education
- Valid Connecticut Special Education teaching license

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Provide engaging, differentiated instruction to high school learners
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and development
- Advocate for students, ensuring access to appropriate resources and opportunities
