What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Documentation Coordinator, you'll manage production paperwork, order entry, and document control processes that support daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Print, prepare, and distribute production work orders to manufacturing and hardware teams.
  • Review completed work orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Process order entry and maintain accurate production records within company systems.
  • Sort, organize, scan, and file production documentation in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Maintain documentation and records supporting manufacturing operations and inventory activities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to manage documentation, track orders, and communicate updates.
  • Monitor filing systems and ensure records are organized, current, and readily accessible.
  • Investigate and resolve documentation discrepancies with production team members.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and documentation control requirements.
  • Support production schedules by ensuring work orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a busy manufacturing environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience following documented procedures and standard operating processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to perform high-volume data entry accurately and efficiently.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with order entry, production control, or document control processes.
  • Experience in filing, scanning, and records management.
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and order management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
  • Interest in building a long-term career within manufacturing operations, administrative support, or production control.
Work Environment

This is primarily a computer-based role consisting of approximately 75-90% desk work and 10-25% document filing and record organization. You'll work within a professional office setting located inside a manufacturing facility where laboratory instruments are produced.

The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and detail-focused. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to maintain focus while managing competing priorities. Your work plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining the integrity of manufacturing records.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
