School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Mansfield, Texas

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference across multiple schools, lending your skills and compassion to diverse age groups. This contract role offers a structured full-time schedule from September through late May, working exclusively at assigned campuses each day.

Your role will focus on delivering high-quality support to students at two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. You’ll collaborate with supervising SLPs and educational staff, helping students overcome barriers and achieve their communication goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active TX SLPA license required
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Understanding of speech-language therapy practices and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities
• Successful completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening
• Comfort collaborating within an educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language therapy plans under SLP supervision
• Record data on student progress and session outcomes
• Travel to assigned schools as scheduled (no mid-day transitions)
• Foster positive, inclusive relationships with students and staff
• Contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
