Step into a rewarding opportunity working closely with young learners and making a difference in their lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) spans a maternity leave beginning in November, providing you with the chance to collaborate with educational teams and support students’ communication development in a vibrant school environment.

You’ll work in a pediatric-focused setting alongside dedicated professionals, helping to foster academic and social success for students who benefit from speech-language services. Your expertise and commitment will empower children to reach their highest potential throughout the school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Licensed (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Pennsylvania
  • Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based services
  • Ability to adapt services for diverse student populations and individual needs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students across grade levels on an established caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize therapy effectiveness and student achievement
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute toward goal setting and plan development
