Preferred Background and Experience:
- Current and active KS RN or LPN license
- Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is valued
- Comfortable with trach and gtube care in children
- Strong assessment and communication abilities
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to adapt to the school setting
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- CPR certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care to a kindergarten-aged student on a one-to-one basis
- Manage and monitor trach and gtube interventions safely
- Maintain accurate documentation of provided care and student responses
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, family members, and school personnel
- Support the student in achieving the highest level of independence during school hours
