School Psychologist - Somerset, NJ

Step into the role of School Psychologist as a key member of a dynamic Child Study Team for a leave replacement position running from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experienced collaborator with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs.
• Participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of the Child Study Team.
• Provide direct counseling and consultative services to students as needed.
• Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and external professionals to ensure coordinated support for each child.
• Advocate for best practices in mental health and learning support throughout the school community.
