Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and learning needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role near Faribault, MN. Your clinical expertise will help assess, develop, and implement individualized education programs, working collaboratively with an engaged school team. You'll conduct therapy sessions that empower students to reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience with school-based caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver high-quality direct therapy services to students of varying ages
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner according to school and district requirements
- Contribute actively in IEP meetings, sharing recommendations and student progress updates
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations for special education
- Proactively gather details to inform case management and best-practice interventions
- Participate in presenting student cases and progress reports to the team, including Alyson and Jordan
This is a site-based opportunity (no teletherapy). Sessions are scheduled as needed and may include participation in team meetings at assigned times.
