Based near Arvada, CO, this full-time contract opportunity allows you to work with diverse student populations, helping them achieve communication milestones and greater classroom engagement.

As a valued member of the school's support services team, you'll collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to develop and implement tailored intervention plans. Your expertise will assist students facing speech, language, and communication challenges, empowering them to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Colorado
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though CFYs are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong skills in assessment, individualized planning, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions to identified students
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
  • Provide guidance and resources to teachers and caregivers
