Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship status
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and maintain accurate records in compliance with guidelines
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families, to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of student performance, session notes, and progress reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates
- Stay current on best practices, interventions, and educational requirements
