Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Physical Therapist, providing essential therapy services within a center-based program for students aged Kindergarten through 26 years with moderate to severe disabilities. This full-time contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering you the chance to work consistently onsite for 35 hours each week in a rewarding school setting near Warren, MI.
Support a vibrant and diverse student community by developing and implementing tailored therapeutic plans to help each learner maximize their potential. As a valued member of the school team, collaborate with educators and specialists to create inclusive, compassionate environments and promote students’ independence and mobility.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan (valid MI PT license; submit a screenshot of licensure)
- Prior experience working in a school environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable supporting K-age 26 population with moderate to severe disabilities
- Committed to onsite services; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
- Eagerness to contribute to a center-based program focused on meaningful student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group-based physical therapy interventions
- Assess and monitor student needs, documenting progress and adjusting plans as required
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive support
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives
