Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license in California
  • Previous experience as an SLPA in schools and/or healthcare settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting children’s communication goals
  • Ability to collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families effectively
  • Organized and adaptable to changing caseloads and student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed SLPs in delivering direct and indirect therapy services to students
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and session documentation
  • Prepare therapy materials and set up activities for intervention sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings as needed
  • Communicate with families and staff regarding student progress under SLP supervision
