Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapy (PT) license (required)
- Previous experience as a PT in a school setting or with K-12 youth strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and organizational skills required for an itinerant, multi-site position
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse ages and ability levels
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy services to students at several school sites
- Assess students’ needs, develop individualized plans, and record progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and help shape therapeutic goals in collaboration with staff and families
- Work onsite during school hours (37.5 hours/week) for the contract period through May 24, 2027
- Maintain documentation and comply with all state and school policies for therapy services
