School-Based Physical Therapist - Texico, NM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfortable with itinerant work across several sites
• Excellent communication, case management, and organizational skills
• Confidence in providing direct services, assessments, and evaluations (PTs)
• Ability to deliver direct treatment services (PTAs)
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, provide direct intervention, and handle ongoing case management (PTs)
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student goals
• Travel to multiple school locations as needed
• Ensure detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans for optimal student progress
