In this full-time, onsite role, you'll play a vital part in shaping the learning outcomes of students across a likely mild to moderate caseload. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working within a school-based environment, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver tailored speech and language services for learners from birth through age 21.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Active CO Department of Education Certification
- Valid Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist, ages birth to 21)
- Experience or interest in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including a background check via district procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services for a diverse student population
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct therapy, consultative services, and collaborate on IEP teams
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Communicate clearly with educators, families, and administrators to support student development
