Required Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Special Education Certification
- Experience working with elementary-age students, specifically at the 3rd-grade level
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted academic interventions and behavioral support for students in both pull-out and push-in formats
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Adjust lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet each student’s needs
- Maintain detailed documentation for student progress and related services
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment supporting student growth and achievement
