Forklift Operator

This position requires operating a forklift in a rugged outdoor, paved and unpaved environment. You will work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load product onto and unload product from flat beds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording, and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels, and production schedules.
• Help with pallet restacks by cutting and dumping product, lifting bags of product, restacking on pallets, and rewrapping.
• Other duties or responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

This is a fast-moving environment with opportunities for 10 to 20 hours of overtime every week, providing a chance to increase your earnings.

This role primarily involves working outdoors in a rugged environment, both on paved and unpaved surfaces. It is essential to wear steel-toed boots. The facility is fast-paced, covered and uncovered, offering a dynamic work setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, MD.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
