Full-Time Handyman | Up to $120,000 Base | Atherton, CA
Our client, a well-established organization in the property maintenance and repair sector, is seeking a versatile and experienced Handyman to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity for a skilled, hands-on professional who can take on a wide range of maintenance, repair, and small construction projects. The ideal candidate is a true jack-of-all-trades who is resourceful, practical, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks to support property upkeep and day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
• Perform general repairs and maintenance, including patching, painting, and drywall work
• Handle basic electrical repairs and light plumbing tasks
• Build and assemble structures such as play equipment, chicken coops, and furniture
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Support gardening, landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance
• Assist with small-scale construction projects as needed
• Identify maintenance issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions
• Complete maintenance tasks safely and in accordance with relevant standards
• Maintain clear documentation of work performed and materials used
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize projects and ensure timely completion
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, or a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and basic landscaping
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities
• Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to take on a variety of projects
• Flexibility to handle different maintenance needs as they arise
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with small-scale construction or outdoor projects
• Electrical or plumbing certification is a plus, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Other Requirements
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift moderate weights and safely perform physical labor
• Flexibility to take on a broad range of maintenance and repair responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
• Up to $120,000 annual base salary, with an expected base of at least $100,000
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
