Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - Saint Joseph, Michigan

Make a meaningful impact as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-12 students and beyond, all the way up to age 26, in a supportive educational environment near Saint Joseph, MI. In this contract role, you’ll work primarily onsite for 36.25 hours each week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 3:45PM. You will serve students with moderate to severe autism, collaborating closely with educators and families to maximize each student’s potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Michigan SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) license required
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Proven ability to work effectively with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, adapting evidence-based methods to meet individual needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and update IEPs, and establish clear, achievable therapy goals
• Collaborate with special education staff, families, and administrators to drive student progress
• Maintain accurate records, track progress, and document outcomes in compliance with district and state requirements
• Engage in professional development and contribute creative ideas for inclusive, supportive learning
