Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Desired Background & Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status accepted
- Strongly prefer previous experience working in school settings
- Expertise in speech, language, social communication, and AAC intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Organized, self-motivated, and dedicated to student-centered solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' learning and communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and state requirements
- Engage students with evidence-based interventions and foster a positive environment
